The Lift, September 11, 2011

Sunday was an emotional day for many as memories resurfaced from 9-11.  Andy Cherry was our worship leader.  He introduced us to a new song by Matt Redman called, "Never Once."  There could not have been a more fitting song.  Check out some of the lyrics...

The Lift Setup in 1 minute and 21 seconds

Every weekend our stage team spends a couple of hour getting The Lift environment ready for our Sunday morning worship services.  On the day this video was shot, Upward Basketball had just finished.  We pick up with the arrival of our team. 

The Lift would not happen without the many hours our stage team puts in each weekend.  This is a very important team that needs more members.  If you are interested in connecting with us through volunteering, this team is a great place to start.  You can begin by, clicking here and fill out the online registration form.

The Lift, January 2, 2011

2011 got off to a great start today!  The Spirit of God moved in the hearts of everyone in attendance.  Mike and the band did a wonderful job leading in worship.  Our pastor laid a challenge before us, to go into this new year as a new person by following Paul's example from Philippians. We experienced a tremendous move of God during the response time.  Our volunteer teams really showed out today!  Everyone from hospitality to our break down crew.  Thanks Lifters for all you do! 

As I thought about today's topic, here are a couple of thoughts...

ONE.  If you want to live in victory in 2011, stop being a victim to your past!!  Your sins are forgiven and Jesus has washed away the stains.  Paul said forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.  Why don't we make this the year we reach forward?  Stop looking back, focus on moving forward!

TWO. Let's make this year (2011) be our most God glorifying year ever!!

The Lift, October 3, 2010

Today was a great day at First Baptist Indian Trail. The Lift Service really rocked! We saw 5 people give their heart to Jesus and many others respond to the message. It was an honor to have Dave Edwards from Oklahoma be our guest speaker...he gave an amazing message that God used in BIG ways.
